Isabel E. DeBoer was born on December 6, 1920 in Glad Valley, South Dakota to parents, William and Charlotte (Saam) Picker. She passed away on June 18. 2022 at her home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 101 years. Isabel moved to Oregon with most of her family in 1935, settling in the Hermiston, Oregon area. She worked at the Umatilla Army Depot during WWII. Isabel married Ralph DeBoer in 1947 and they lived in Stanfield, Oregon where they had two children, Ralph and Janice. Isabel worked as a cook at the Stanfield High School for a short time. She later worked at the Stanfield Shopeteria for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Hermiston Christian Center, Hermiston, Oregon.
She is survived by her daughter: Janice; daughter-in-law: Burul; grandchildren: William (Jennifer), Andrea (Danny); and Dawn; and 6 great grandchildren.
Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, son: Ralph, her parents; and all of her siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Hermiston Christian Center, 1825 W. Highland Ave., Hermiston, Oregon.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
