Hubert “Rowdy” Lee Fenley Jr. of Hermiston was born February 28, 1951 in Vallejo, California the son of Hubert and Dorothy (Smith) Fenley. He passed away in Richland, WA on May 2, 2025 at the age of 74.
Rowdy moved to Hermiston, Oregon in the Mid 1960's. He attended high school in Hermiston but graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, WA. After high school, he joined the US Army and served in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, Rowdy returned to Hermiston where he has lived since. He continued his military service by serving in the Army National Guard for an additional twenty years.
Rowdy worked for Bud Rich Potatoes and for Simplot for most of his working career. He enjoyed reading, playing video games, building model tanks and attending the Hermiston Christian Center.
He is survived by four daughters, Cynthia, Mary, Rachel and Geri Ann; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry; sisters, Wanda, Janice and Barbara; and many extended family members.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 31, 2025 at the Hermiston Christian Center (1825 W Highland Avenue Hermiston, OR). A Private burial was in the Hermiston Cemetery.
