Mrs. Hoa Ngoc Deo Nguyen, age 79, of Hermiston, passed away Friday afternoon, February 28, 2025, after a life filled with adventures, unwavering strength, love and laughter. She was born September 8, 1945, in Vietnam, a devoted daughter of the late Hin Van Deo and Toi Thi Lo.
Mrs. Nguyen is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Hoang Nguyen; three daughters, Thanh Nhung Jeffers, Lan Chi Nguyen, and Ngoc Lan Nguyen; two sons in-laws, Kevin Jeffers and James Espinoza; nine grandchildren, Alex and Ellie Jeffers, Andy, Lucie, Tilana, Mason, Jaelin, Harmony, and Ella Nguyen; three younger sisters, Quynh, Hoai and Anh Deo. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sharing stories and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Burns Mortuary in Hermiston, Oregon, Burial will follow in the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
