Ginamarie Cox was born on March 1, 1958 in Everett, Washington to Dolan E. Mincher and Wilda I. Watson. She passed away on January 26, 2026 in Hermiston, Oregon.
Ginamarie grew up in Salem, Oregon and spent much of her childhood on the Oregon coast. As an adult, she lived in the Portland, Oregon area where she had two daughters, Angelina and Amanda. She married her husband Jack Cox Sr. in 2006 and became a step-mother to his two son’s Jack Cox Jr. and Shawn Cox.
While Ginamarie and Jack lived in the Salem area, they were members of the Silver Creek Fellowship in Silverton, Oregon where Ginamarie was baptized. She and Jack were avid members who spent much of their time doing volunteer work on behalf of the Fellowship.
She will be remembered as a very loving, caring person who had a fantastic smile. She was a lover of a good book and nice smelling candle and she loved her cats dearly.
She is survived by: her husband of nearly 20 years, Jack Cox Sr., daughter’s Angelina Aguilar, Amanda Smith, Step-son’s Jack Cox Jr., Shawn Cox, her mother Wilda Watson, brother Mark Mincher and eight grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dolan E. Mincher.
