Fred E Haberstich

Fred E. Haberstich was born on April 22, 1934 in Redmond, Oregon to parents, Frederick “Fritz” and Fannie Alexander Haberstich. He died on January 20, 2023 at his home in Boardman, Oregon at the age of 88 years. Fred and attended schools in Madras, Oregon and on October 31, 1954 he was united in marriage to Theresa Anne Thomsen in Antelope, Oregon. They moved to Boardman, Oregon in 1975 where they have lived since. Fred had worked various jobs, including for Russell Oil and a school bus driver. He had been an OSAA official who enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting.   

He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Theresa Anne Haberstich; sons: Martin, Tim (Bobbie) & Chris (Rhonda); 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Marjorie Taylor and Thelma Krueger and a brother: Homer Haberstich.
 
Recitation of the rosary will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston, Oregon with Mass of Christian Burial following at 1:30P.M..

Burial will follow at the Hermiston, Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
