Edna Deloris (Morris) Wilson

Edna Deloris Wilson of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on October 13, 1936 in Heppner, Oregon to parents, Edgar and Mildred Wilson Morris. She died on May 7, 2022 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 85 years. Edna was raised and attended school in Heppner, Oregon, graduating from Heppner High School in the class of 1954. While in high school she began working as a nurse’s aide at Pioneer Memorial Hospital and continued to work there after graduating. Edna married Maynard Struthers Sr. and operated an in home daycare for several years. Maynard passed away in 2001 and she later married John Wilson in 2005 and he passed away in October of 2021. She has lived in Hermiston, Oregon for the past 30 years and was a member of the Umatilla Assembly of God, Umatilla, Oregon. Edna enjoyed crocheting, needle point, crossword and word search puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter: Dena Wiese and her husband Lyle, Hammond, OR; son: Joe Struthers and his wife Sarah, Clovis, New Mexico; sisters: Edie Morris, Prineville, OR, Florence Nolan, Everett, WA and Doris Brosnan, Heppner, OR; brothers: Kip Morris, Madras, OR and Bob Morris, Condon, OR; grandchildren: Aubry, Rebecca, Melissa, Bradley, David, Jonathan, Maria, Robyn, Tracy, Trudy and Trisha; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, sons: Jack, Bill and Gary Struthers and brothers: Jim and Randy Morris.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
