Earlene Jacobs of Hermiston, Oregon was born on January 16, 1950 in Walla Walla, Washington to parents, Earl and Donna (Arlene) Crow. She died on May 10, 2026 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 76 years. Earlene was raised in Hermiston, Oregon and spent most of her life living and working in Hermiston. She graduated from Hermiston High School in 1968. She began working as a certified nursing assistant while earning her degree in nursing from Blue Mountain Community College. She spent her career working as an RN at Good Shepherd Hospital and numerous other facilities within the Good Shepherd Health Care System.
Earlene was a longtime member of the Solid Rock Community Church, Hermiston, Oregon. She loved her job working as a nurse and providing care for all her numerous patients, particularly in hospice care. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching the birds outside her windows, spending time with her family, particularly her five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Karma Manley of Anacortes, Washington and Krickett Mabe of Hermiston, Oregon; and her sons: Andrew Jacobs of Darien, Georgia, and Matthew Jacobs of Hermiston, Oregon, and her sister: Sherry Graham of Anchorage, Alaska.
Earlene was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Donna (Arlene) Crow of Hermiston, Oregon, her brother: Dwight Crow of Seaside, Oregon, and her brother: Mike Crow of Seaside, Oregon.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Solid Rock Community Church, 160 SW 2nd St., Hermiston Oregon.
