Don E Hicks

Don E. Hicks of Hermiston, Oregon was born June 27, 1945 in Blanche, Missouri the son of Orville and Ruth (Lambert) Hicks. He passed away in Hermiston on July 13, 2025 at the age of 80.

Don grew up in Douglas County Missouri where he received his education. In his youth, he played the guitar and played in several bands. He also enjoyed working on the family farm in Missouri. Don drove truck throughout his career and enjoyed his many adventures throughout the United States.

He is survived by a son, Randy Hicks; daughters, Cindy Smith and Donna Long; son, Les Johnson; sister, Wilma Hamby; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Hicks; his parents; and a sister, Wava Barnhart.

Services will be announced at a later time. Burial will be in the family plot in Missouri.
