Debra "Ree" Decker Obituary

On the morning of July 18, 2021 Debra (Ree) Decker passed away peacefully in her sleep.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and a friend to many.  She was born Debra Ree Johnson October 1, 1952 to parents Lefton D Johnson and Bessie I Johnson in Pensacola, Florida. She was raised in Southern California until adulthood where she then moved to Oregon, where she met her husband Melvin Perry Decker.  They later divorced, but always stayed in contact with each other.  They had three sons, Nathan Perry Decker, Ryan Cole Decker and Brandon Montana Decker. Ree had lived in Boardman Oregon since 1996.
She is survived by her sons Nathan Perry Decker (wife Andrea), Ryan Cole Decker (wife Loni Jo), Brandon Montana Decker (wife Shanna).  Grandchildren Blane, Brody, Carson and Aerianna. Sisters Martha Johnson, Beth Purves, Joyce Berry and Ruth Chipman.  She is preceded in death by her mother Bessie I Crutchfield, father Lefton D Johnson and brother Buddy Johnson. Even though some thought Ree had a rough exterior. Those who truly knew her and the daily struggle she went through with mental illness knew she was a kind and gentle sprit.  She will be missed so much by those who loved her.
Donations can be made in her name to the National Alliance on Mental Health.

A family gathering will be held.
