David Eugene Raines

Remembering David Eugene Raines (10-16-1955 to 7-1-2025) David was 69 years old.

David was born in Dallas, Oregon to Arlene and Gerald Raines on October 16th, 1955.

Dave and his family moved to countless places around Oregon during his childhood. Dave finished his school years in Hermiston where he graduated high school in 1974. 

He started college shortly after in Portland Oregon. Then he went to the Tri-Cities where he got his real estate license in 1977. He had many friends in the real estate and banking businesses around the Tri-Cities. David went from selling real estate to appraising real estate and becoming a very successful businessman in the Tri-Cities.

He met his wife Sandy in the spring of 1981 and the pair married in September 1982. 

Dave and Sandy have two children, Jennie, married to Jared Betker and their children Ella (15), Clayton (13), and Chrissie, married to Matt Thorsten and their children, William (5) and Rylie (4). 

Dave was preceded in death by his mother Arlene Baxter and father Gerald, and many other family and friends who were waiting for him with open arms on the other side.

Dave is survived by … His (BFF) wife Sandy, Jennie and family, Chrissie and family, his brothers Rick, Darrell, Ron, Don, and Rod and all their families. Also, his sisters Susan and Deanna and their families. 

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Saturday August 9th, 2025 at his home in Pasco.
