Dale Allen Krebs

Dale Allen Krebs of Hermiston was born February 4, 1953 in Portland, Oregon the son of Donald and Lois (Kennedy) Krebs. He passed away at his home surrounded by his family on August 5, 2025 at the age of 72.
 
Dale lived in the Troutdale area throughout his childhood. He attended grade schools in Troutdale and Sam Barlow High School in Gresham where he graduated in the class of 1971.
 
After high school he worked at various jobs in the Troutdale area. In 1981 his job at that time gave him the opportunity to move to Umatilla, Oregon. In 1983 he began D&R Towing which he operated in Eastern Oregon for the next forty two years.
 
Dale enjoyed going to Sand Lake on the Oregon Coast where he rode ATV’s and drove Sandrails for many years. He enjoyed snow skiing and riding dirt bikes in his youth, spent many years riding jet skis on the Columbia River. He was always working on projects and especially enjoyed building or improving his tow trucks. He enjoyed going to tow shows at various locations and especially enjoyed going to the Florida Tow Show. 
 
Dale married Elleane Miguel in the Philippines on April 13, 1997.
 
He is survived by his wife Elleane. sons Jason Henry, Codi Krebs and Dale Krebs Jr. grandchildren Madison, Scarlett and Kodah. brothers, Dave Krebs and Donnie Krebs, and many extended family members.
 
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Aug 23rd , 2025  at the Burns Mortuary Chapel. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
