Cynthia "Cindy" (Wightman) Maccarone

Cynthia J. “Cindy” (Wightman) Maccarone of Milton Freewater, Oregon, was born on November 17, 1960 in Long Beach, California John and Mary Ellen Wightman. She died on May 1, 2023 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 62 years. Cindy was raised and attended schools in California and Medford, Oregon before her family moved to Milton Freewater in 1974. She graduated from MacLaughlin High School in the class of 1979. Cindy then attended Walla Walla Community College where she earned her classification of Respiratory Therapist. She worked in Portland for a few years before returning to Milton Freewater. Cindy had worked at Sykes and for WalMart for several years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing, crafts and visiting with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother: Mary Ellen Wightman, Milton Freewater, OR; brother: Smokey Joe Wightman (Lisa Mittelsdorf), Boardman, OR; nephews and nieces: Tanner, Taylor, Skylar, Jordan & Jennah; as well 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father and a brother: Bob Wightman.  

A graveside service will be announced.
