Cindy L. (Duncan) Powney former Hermiston , Oregon resident of Yakima, Washington, was born on March 4, 1958 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to parents, Billie and Shirley Duncan. She passed away on October 27, 2023 in Yakima, Washington at the age of 65 years. Cindy married Jeffrey Powney on July 31, 1999 in Elko, Nevada. She worked for many years in the Hermiston area before moving to Yakima where they have lived for the last 16 years. Cindy was retired and loved spending time with her family and new granddaughter. She loved roses and had many around their home. We love you and will miss you Cindy!

She is survived by her husband Jeff; son: Hunter and his partner Aubrey Gaul; granddaughter: Oakley Powney; sisters: Cathy and husband Steve Krietzer; Sue and husband Grizz Sidebottom; brother: Roger and wife Paula Duncan; several nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
