Cindy L Pettey

Cindy L. Pettey of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on September 18, 1953 in Monticello, Utah to parents, Frank and Doris Pettey. She died on April 17, 2023 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 69 years. Cindy was raised and attended schools in Hermiston, Oregon, graduating from Hermiston High School in 1971. She married Jody Cady and they had 3 children: Jeff, Jason and Mandi. They later divorced. Cindy worked at Arrowhead Truck Stop in Pendleton and Pilot Truck Stop in Stanfield, Oregon where she enjoyed visiting with the truckers and giving them a hard time. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, cross stitch, crocheting, animals and most of all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Jeff (Monica) Cady, WA, Jason Cady, AZ and Mandi (Pete) Munoz, Hermiston, OR, her mother: Doris Pettey, Hermiston, OR; sister: Cathy (Dave) Zinter, Hermiston, OR; grandchildren: Derek, Brandon, Noel, Alexis, Tayler, McKenzee, Austen, Addie, Carter & Jenna; great granddaughter: Lylian; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, a sister Tammy Dickerson and brother, Kevin Pettey.      

A family gathering will be held.
