Charles David Stull was a surprise addition to his sister’s birth on January 18th, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dean and Veldeane Stull welcomed Deanna Joyce and her twin, David, to their family giving three year old Ray Dean Stull two siblings simultaneously. Dave prided himself on jumping in to help others and having a strong work ethic. He offered positive suggestions to others in hopes of encouraging them to find solutions to their problems, but mostly, he just loved people where they were in their walk of life with his sweet spirit. He cheered on his Kansas City Chiefs and Alabama Crimson Tide with gusto, was fascinated with Nascar especially when he watched it in person with his twin and her husband, Bubba, during a memorable trip to Talladega, raved about Eggs Benedict at Hale’s Restaurant and their lovely cheerful waitresses he adored, and praised the support his pastor and the men’s group at Living Faith Church gave him. His church fostered his love of the Lord, and he was dedicated to reading the pages of his bible and sharing scripture especially from his cherished book of Proverbs. Dave lived a simple life and found great pleasure in the small things, but the grace and love he showed others will leave a profound impact on those he left behind on September 25th, 2024 at the age of 69 years. His brother: Ray and Ray’s wife, Kay, and their three kids: Matthew Stull, Amy Moon, and Lena Seibel-their spouses and all his great nieces and nephews along with his beloved twin sister, Deanna, and her dog, Bella Boo, will miss his presence in their lives in Hermiston. May we all mirror Dave’s childlike trust in Jesus that leads to one day looking at the face of God. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.” Proverbs 1:7
