Carol Y (Hanson) Slaybaugh of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on July 25, 1937 in Kalispell, Montana to parents, Richard and Josephine (Sundt) Hanson. She died on May 25, 2023 in Pendleton, Oregon at the age of 85 years. Carol was raised in Summers and Kalispell, Montana where she attended school. She married Darrell Slaybaugh on October 30, 1954 in Whitefish, Montana. Darrell worked in road construction so they lived in Kalispell, MT, Spokane, WA and Klamath Falls, OR.. Darrell preceded her in death in 2009 and Carol moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 2013 where she has lived since. She cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed playing cards and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter: Karen Lockhart and son-in-law James, Hermiston, OR; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, 2 daughters: Kathy Isaac & Kim Davis, her parents, 2 grandchildren: Jennifer & Jason and a great granddaughter: Olyvia.

At her request there will be no service.
