C. "Dan" Daniel Agnew

C. Daniel “Dan” Agnew was born on September 26, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents, Charles M. and Constance (DeHoff) Agnew. He died on September 11, 2025 at his home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 71 years. Dan was raised and attended schools in Ohio. He then worked as a mechanical engineer in Arizona where he married Gloria Zamaron on December 6, 1980 in Nogales, AZ. They later lived in Texas, Iowa and back to Texas before settling in Hermiston, Oregon in 2006 where they have lived since. Dan was an avid reader who enjoyed movies, yardwork, carpentry, gardening, cooking, playing golf and basketball. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and former member of Rotary International.

He is survived by his wife: Gloria Agnew, Hermiston, OR; daughter: Gloria Marie Agnew, Echo, OR;; son: David Agnew;  mother: Connie A. Dimko, Ohio; brother: Jeff Agnew, Ohio; and grandchildren: Elisabeth and Rebel.

Dan was preceded in death by his son Christopher “Chris” Agnew, his father: Charles Agnew and a brother: Myron Agnew.
