Brian D. Gray was born on August 3, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to parents, Darrell and Betty Williams Gray. He died on June 29, 2020 at his home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 70 years. Brian was raised in Brainerd, MN and St. Paul Park, MN where he graduated high school. He then served in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant until his honorable discharge in 1971. Brian lived in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for a time before moving to Hermiston, Oregon. He was united in marriage to Beverly Wellington on January 8, 1988 in Boardman, Oregon. They lived in Boise, Idaho, and Minnesota before returning to Hermiston in 2011 where they have lived since. Brian had worked various jobs over the years including as a bar tender and as a golf course greenskeeper. He enjoyed playing golf, sports, art and refereeing volleyball.
He is survived by his wife: Bev Gray, Hermiston, OR; daughters: Yvette Monahan & husband Dan, and Tomara Maddox & husband Casey, all of Hermiston, OR; mother: Betty Gray, Baxter, MN; siblings: Greg, Bradley and Loralyn; grandchildren: Lexi, Ashley, Zach, Landon & Damon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his father.
A private family gathering will be held.
