Brian D Erz

Brian D. Erz of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on June 6, 1981 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Richard V. “Rick” Erz and Kathryn A. “Kathy” (Brown) Erz. He died on May 3, 2025 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 43 years. Brian was raised and attended school in Hermiston, Oregon where he was active in FFA. He graduated from Hermiston High School in the class of 1999. Brian has worked  with his Dad at Casiday Battery since he was 16. He married Samantha Evens on May 12, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brian loved wheeling, snow boarding, camping, traveling, motorcycles and was always up for an adventure.

He is survived by his wife: Samantha Erz, Hermiston, OR; children: Brianna Fincher & husband Owen, Tucson, AZ, Matthew Erz, Hermiston, OR and Scarlett Erz, Hermiston, OR; parents: Rick and Kathy Erz, Hermiston, OR; sister: Stacey Stanek, Hermiston, OR; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
