Audri Christine Crabtree was born on December 20, 1946 in Walla Walla, Washington and passed away on May 21, 2026 at the age of 79 in Hermiston, Oregon.
Audri was born to parent’s Paul Leondrus Good and Janet Phyllis Kyle. She grew up in the town of Milton-Freewater, Oregon where she attended Mac-Hi.
Her first marriage was to William Wondra whom she had three children with; William III“JR”, Jon and Micheal. While they were married, William began working for Western Farm Service. This career would move Audri and her family from Milton-Freewater, Oregon to Hermiston, Oregon. Audri and William would later divorced but remained lifelong friends.
She would go on to marry again, to Mannie (Bud) Crabtree who she was with for over 25 years. Mannie was adored by Audri’s children, stating he was the best stepfather anyone could ask for. They would remain married until his passing in 2005.
After retiring from Walmart over 10 years ago, she recently began working for Hermiston Drug Store.
Audri loved to go camping in the mountains, mushroom and huckleberry picking, was an avid thrift shopper. She loved working in her garden, doing puzzles, reading and spending time with her kitties. But most of all, Audri’s greatest pride and joy was being a grandmother and a great-grandmother.
Audri is preceded in death by her son, JR, brother Paul Ainsley, and husband Mannie Crabtree.
She is survived by her children Jon and Micheal, and her son in law Ben Castanares who loved her like his own mother. Grandchildren Clifton Carson Jr., Gabrielle Myrick, Courtney Myrick, and Jared Myrick. Great-grandchildren Violet Traeger, Georgia Traeger, Brylee Muckleroy and Bentlee Wondra.
Special thanks to Hermiston Drug for giving Audri a new purpose at her final job, and Burns Mortuary for their kindness and compassion in helping us care for our beloved mother.
Services to be announced at a later date.
