Alberto Ruiz Gomez

Alberto Ruiz Gomez of Hermiston was born October 5, 1991 in Hermiston, Oregon the son of Carlos and Cande (Gomez) Ruiz. He passed away in Vale, Oregon on July 8, 2025 at the age of 33.

Alberto grew up in Boardman where he attended schools, graduating from Boardman High School in 2009. He worked for Lamb Weston for several years. He has been a truck driver for the past one year.

Alberto loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and soccer. 

Alberto married Loni Silvani in Meacham, Oregon on October 1, 2016.

He is survived by his wife, Loni; children, Carly, Milo and Theodore; parents, Carlos and Cande Ruiz; four brothers, Juan, Erik, Gerardo and Noe; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday July 16, 2025 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church (565 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, Oregon 97838) A Memorial Mass will follow the Rosary and will begin at 2:30 P.M. also at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church.
