Virginia Mae Williams was born October 18, 1928 in Hamilton, Washington the daughter of James and Ella (Combs) McIlrath. She passed away on Saturday September 29, 2018 in Pendleton at the age of 89.
Virginia grew up and attended school near Hamilton, WA, graduating from Sedro Woolley high school in the class of 1946. She attended Lane Community College in Eugene where she completed her studies to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She workd as an LPN for over thirty years. As an adult she lived in the communities of Arcada, CA, Springfield, OR, moved to Hermiston in the mid 1990's and has lived in Pendleton for the past seven years.
Virginia was a big supporter of Special Olympics and Veterans organizations. She loved animals especially cats and dogs.
She is survived by a daughter, Rogena Olson; son, Jeffrey Severson; brother, Niel McIlrath; grandson, Brad Olson; great granddaughter, Katie Rowen and great great grandchildren, Maycee and Jace Rowen.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday October 4, 2018 at the Hermiston Cemetery in Hermiston. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of final arrangements.
