Tiffany Nicole (Edwards) Hayward

Tiffany Nicole Edwards-Hayward, 26, died Wednesday, April 21 at home, surrounded by her family in Hermiston, Oregon.

Tiffany was born on May 29, 1983 to Debbie Hill in Hermiston, Oregon and was welcomed into the Edwards family in 1986, blessing Kevin and Kay Edwards with their third daughter. She attended Highland Hills Elementary and Armand Larive Junior High. She participated in Cross Country at Hermiston High School, graduating in 2001.

After becoming certified as a CNA through BMCC, Tiffany worked as an in-home caregiver in Eugene, Oregon as well as at Rose Arbor Assisted Living and Sun Terrace Assisted Living facilities in Hermiston, Oregon. She served in the United States Coast Guard and was stationed in Port Angeles, Washington until her Honorable Discharge in April of 2007.

Tiffany was united in marriage to Allen Hayward on August 8, 2008 and lived in Pasco, Washington prior to returning to Hermiston. Tiffany was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, where she was active from a young age in Junior Catholic Daughters and Youth Group. She enjoyed traveling and served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic in 2003. An avid sports fan, Tiffany also loved video and board games, word search puzzles and movies. She cherished her time with her family and loved her dog, Yoshi.

She is survived by her husband: Allen Hayward, Hermiston, OR; parents: Kevin and Kay Edwards, Hermiston, OR; grandparents: Vern and Ann Hoskins, Hermiston, OR; brothers: Marc Edwards & wife Alma, Pasco, WA; Vernon Edwards & wife Stephanie, Hermiston, OR and Danny Edwards & wife Michelle, Hermiston, OR; sisters: Angela Young & husband Joe, Alissa Simmons & husband Justin and Jessica Edwards, all of Hermiston, OR; father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Dawn Clabo, Hermiston, OR; brother-in-law: Shawn Hayward & wife Jessica, Corvallis, OR; sister-in-law: Kirsten Clabo, Hermiston, OR; nieces & nephews: Bryan, Brianna, Jase, K.J., Makaylee, Bailey Jo, Isabella, Kellen, Avonlea, James, Cash & Lane, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert and Freda Edwards.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary chapel, Hermiston, Oregon. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon. Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
