Thomas E. “Beenie” Beenblossom was born on March 3, 1946 in Lexington, Nebraska to parents, Del and Florence Weible Beenblossom. He died on November 2, 2018 at his home in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 72 years. After his parents divorce, he was raised by his Foster Father, Carl Dowers in the Willamette Valley around the Salem area. He moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 1962 and worked at C&B Livestock for a time. Tom was united in marriage with Bonnie Constant on January 31, 1969 in Hermiston, Oregon. He went to work for Lamb Weston in 1973 and retired in 2014 as the Boiler/Refrigeration Lead. Tom enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, watching the Food Network and the Nature channel was rarely seen without his dog, Cuddles, and racing cars for many years on the Columbia River Circuit.
He is survived by his Wife of over 49 years: Bonnie Beenblossom, Hermiston, OR; Sons: Carl Beenblossom, Moyie Springs, ID; Michael Beenblossom, Hermiston, OR; Daughters: Misty (Daniel) Ciontos, Salem, OR; Chenoa (Mike) Van Schoiack, Hermiston, OR; Brothers: Dennis, Randy & Doug Beenblossom; Sister: Rhonda Vincent; 18 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his Parents and a Sister, Jacqueline Meier
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
