Stephan Leader-Bowles

Stephan Kenyon Taylor Mitchell Leader-Bowles of Madras, former Irrigon resident, was born on January 10, 1996 in La Grande, Oregon to parents, Janette Leader-Hill and Stephen Bowles. He died on October 21, 2017 in Prineville, Oregon as the result of an automobile accident at the age of 21 years. Stephan was raised in Irrigon, Oregon until the age of 12 where he loved spending time on the farm with his grandparents. His family moved to Oregon City and later to Madras, Oregon where he played high school football and enjoyed camping and fishing with his family as well as playing basketball with his friends. Stephan lived life to the fullest and the thing that made him the happiest was spending time with his daughter Maisie and his nephew Braylen.

He is survived by his parents: Janette Leader-Hill and her husband Dennis, Stephen Bowles; daughter: Maisie Leader-Bowles; sisters: Kateri Leader-Bowles and Lilly Hill; grandparents: Mylinda and Dale Awmiller and Frank Scott Sr.; great grandmother: Grace Frederickson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.     

Stephan was preceded in death by grandparents: Thomas Leader and Kathleen Bowles; great grandparents: Beverly Leader, Roy Leader and Wally Frederickson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
