Seth Alan Doughty

Seth Alan Doughty of Irrigon, Oregon, was born on November 17, 1995 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Wayne and Kathy VanGorder Doughty. He died on December 29, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 23 years. Seth was raised and attended schools in Umatilla, Oregon where he participated in Baseball and football. He graduated from Umatilla High School in the class of 2015. He had worked for Shearers for a time and has worked at 3d Idapro in Stanfield, Oregon for the last 2 years and had recently been promoted to mechanic. He loved hunting upland and waterfowl birds, elk, deer, fishing, camping, sports, racing, riding dirt bikes, atv’s, snow boarding and listening to music. 

He is survived by his parents, Wayne Alan Doughty and Kathy Leann VanGorder Doughty; brothers: Kayne Doughty, Benjamin Doughty & Timothy Stacy; sisters: Kassie McKim, Cherie Bortnick, Kayleen Carey & Leandrea Chavez; grandmother: Hazel Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and 18 nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
