Margaret M Moore

Margaret M. Moore, 88 of Boardman, OR, left us on Sunday June 17, 2018 in The Dalles, Oregon to be with the Lord. Margaret was a longtime resident of Boardman, living there for the last 54 years. She was born on February 2, 1930 in Roseville, California. Margaret was known for her love of family and friends. She will always be remembered for her smile as well as the hugs and kisses that she gave unconditionally to everyone. Her loves included gardening, needlepoint, quilting, homemaking, and having her family by her side. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Boardman for a great many years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hermiston, Oregon. Margaret married the love of her life, Glen Moore in 1946 and was married for 66 years until his passing in 2012.

She is survived by her 4 daughters: Carolyn Moore, Boardman, OR, Bonnie Moore, Missouri, Glenda Cooper, South Dakota, and Sharon Atkission, Missouri; son: Michael Moore, Hermiston, OR; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her friends were too many to mention as everyone who knew Margaret instantly fell in love with her. She will be missed as Boardman says goodbye to one of their own - a sweet gentle soul.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; a son, Clayton an infant son, Walter and her siblings.     

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Riverview Cemetery, Boardman, Oregon where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Glen.
