Kevin B Holloway

Kevin Holloway passed away on November 26th, 2018 in his home in Kennewick, Washington, at the age of 54.

Kevin was born in Kennewick, Washington, on October 2nd, 1964. His parents were Mary Ellen Tompkins and William Whitehead. He went to school in Stanfield, Oregon, and earned his GED later in life.  He was married to Sue Holloway on June 21st , 1985, in Hermiston, Oregon.  He spent his early career in Freight Transportation for Beaver Bark before transitioning to a Plant Technician for Energy Northwest. Later in life, Kevin desired a career that allowed him to work more closely with people. He trained to be a Phlebotomist and was working for Interpath Labs before he passed.  He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. 

Kevin was an avid car and racing enthusiast, earning many trophies. He also enjoyed camping, exploring the outdoors with family and friends, and fishing.   

Kevin is survived by the love of his life Sue Holloway; father William Whitehead; daughter Nicole Kauer and her husband Joseph; granddaughter Madisen Kauer; siblings: James Powney, Jeff Powney, Reta Powney, Karen Counsel, Shelly Bratton.

Visitation will be 1pm to 5pm Friday, November 30th at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston.

A graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at the Hermiston Cemetery where Kevin will be laid to rest near his mother.
