I knew Kenny when he was in Germany in 1993-1994. He was a great friend, and loved by all. He was always so positive and laid back. He just went any way the wind blew, and was the life of the party - without trying to be. I spent many a nights hanging out with him and ending the night at the chow hall for breakfast when it opened up the wee hours of the morning. Kenny was so proud of his Hermiston upbringing, and we both longed to get back to our northwest roots someday. I'm glad to see he did... We all had so many good times with him. One of which I remember at the NCO club one night. Kenny cut his hand on a glass, and needed stitches. So, a bunch of us piled into a car and continued the party at the ER at Bitburg. When we got there, the doctor looked at his hand (While we were passing a bottle of Jack Daniels around) and asked him if he would mind having a brand new Private sew him up to get experience on sutures. Kenny said "Hell, I don't mind, it's not like I'm feeling any pain anyway!" We all laughed... The doctor said, "That's what I was thinking too." The Private stitched his hand up and Kenny thanked him graciously. It's these types of memories of Kenny that I as well as countless others will always treasure.
To Kenny's family, you have my deepest condolences for the loss of a good man who was taken way too young. To Kenny, till we meet again friend.

Thank You so very much for sharing your story with us.....Kenny Loved his time in the Military but mostly he Loved the Friends he made.....he shared many many memories with his family but of course he saved "some" for other friends....he will truly be missed each and everyday but he LIVED his 45 years to the fullest and left us all with wonderful memories and Life Lessons.....Bless You for being his Friend

Whenever I think of Kenny I see him getting on the school bus with his Steelers coat on and plopping himself into a seat. He would turn around, grab a handful of his hair, and yank it out...just to make you laugh. He was a kind soul. I am so sorry for your loss but grateful for all the fun-loving memories you have with him.

I am speechless, I do not know what to say but that I am so very sorry..
I too loved that boy, he did bring lots of happiness to all of us. My memories goes to all the camping/hunting trip when he was just a little boy, oh the fun we had:)
he shared with his little sister Katie, and little brother Rob. Again such sad times.
