Kaye A (Beebe) Woods

Kaye A (Beebe) Woods was born on July 28, 1934 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents, Kenneth and Alma “Jeanne” Beebe. She died on July 27, 2017 in her home surrounded by family just a day short of her 83rd birthday. Kaye was raised in Central and Eastern Oregon attending schools in  Stanfield, Hereford and La Grande Oregon. Kaye earned her degree in nursing from Blue Mountain Community College and had worked as a nurse at St. Anthony Hospital and at JC Penney in Pendleton. 

She enjoyed playing pool, crafts, hunting, fishing and gardening where she especially loved iris. Kaye had a great love for animals and a special place in her heart for her dog, Tyebee.

She was a member of the Pendleton Eagles Lodge, RSVP Tax Aid, and Sidesaddles.

She is survived by her husband: Willard Woods, Pendleton, OR; children: Leona Brown,  Prineville, OR,  Gwen Little & her husband Tom, Denise Woods, and Chuck Woods & his wife Becky; all of Pendleton, OR; brother: Bill Beebe & his wife Robbie, Anchorage, AK and sister: Virginia Beebe, Pendleton, OR; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. 

Kaye was predeceased by her parents: Kenneth and Jeanne Beebe; and sons: Larry Watkins, Gail Watkins, Ron Woods, and brother: Keith Beebe.

A graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Olney Cemetery, Pendleton, Oregon.

A potluck celebration of life gathering will follow at the Pendleton Eagles Lodge, 428 S. Main St., Pendleton, Oregon.
