Joseph Scott Morancie

Joseph Scott Morancie, 53, of Boardman, Oregon passed away on Tuesday August 29, 2017.

Joe was born December 6, 1963 in Maine the son of Bernard and Sallie Morancie. He lived in Brewer, Maine throughout his childhood where he attended school and graduated from high school. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force where he served from 1985 thru 1988. 

He lived for much of his adult life in Titusville, Florida where he operated a food cart at a golf course for many years. He also resided in Jacksonville, FL and New Bedford, MA before moving to Boardman, OR two years ago.

Joe enjoyed golfing and was a big Alice Cooper fan. He was an avid ghost hunter and was known by many friends and family as “Joe Paranormal”.

He is survived by his fiancé, Tracy Swindler; mother, Sallie Morancie; daughters, Jessica Zivny, Toni Morancie and Cassidy Morancie; Sister, Teresa Morancie; three grandchildren, Justice, Haven and Wyatt.

Viewing is planned on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. September 5, 2017 at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston (685 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, OR 97838).
