JoAnne Boughton

JoAnne Boughton was born on May 6, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to parents, Walter and Clara Hemminger Schoenhofen . She died on May 24, 2019 at her home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 85 years with loving daughter Christine by her side. JoAnne was raised and attended schools in California. She married Charles Boughton on August 27, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Moorpark, California where they owned and operated a horse boarding business for several years. They later moved to Lisbon, New York where they owned and operated a dairy farm. JoAnne moved to South Carolina for a short time before moving to Texas before returning to live with daughter, who was her best friend Christine in California. They moved to Irrigon, Oregon in 2013 where they have lived since. JoAnne enjoyed horses, reading, the internet, music, dancing and shopping.

She is survived by her sons: Charles Sunny Boughton, Texas, Leslie Wade Boughton, Washington, and Robert Everett Nelson, Hermiston, OR; daughters: Christine Hazel Boughton, Irrigon, OR and Denise Rose Richey, South Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband Charles Spencer Boughton, and a  son: Clarence Olen Nelson and her parents.
