Jerald “Jerry” Hoffman, 78 of Hermiston passed away on Wednesday October 18, 2017.
Jerry was born April 21, 1939 in Walla Walla, Washington the son of Walt and Irene (Walker) Hoffman. His family later moved to Echo, Oregon where he graduated from high school. He married Jody Schwab in Weiser, Idaho on July 1, 1959. The couple made Hermiston their home where they raised their family.
Jerry worked as the Plant Manager for JM Manufacturing in McNary for many years. After retiring, he kept busy with part time jobs for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping his neighbors and spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed listening to KOHU radio station every morning.
He is survived by sons, Jesse and David Hoffman of Hermiston; daughter, Deborah Hoffman of Hermiston; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jody; and a son, Greg.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 28, 2017 at the Cowboy Church (81012 Hwy 395 Hermiston, OR)
