Elvira (Garza) Mora

Elvira Garza Mora, former Irrigon, Oregon resident, was born on January 11, 1928 in La Copita, Texas. She died on January 5, 2019 at her home in Fruitland, Idaho at the age of 90 years.

She is survived by her son: Joe Mora, Umatilla, OR; daughters: Gloria Graves, Huntington, OR, Maria Helena Mora, Boardman, OR, Angie Escobedo, Fruitland, ID, Andy Montes, North Hollywood, CA, Toni Gaytan, Hermiston, OR and Lydia Sanchez, Elsa, TX; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Elvira was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Mora, sons: Guadalupe & Rogelio “Roy” Mora, daughters: Dora Mora, Maria “Sandy” Hughes and Margaret Mora.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
