Dorothy Beatrice (Tucker) McMinn

Dorothy B. McMinn of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on August 22, 1927 in Ridgeway, Missouri to parents, Calvin and Elsie Baker Tucker. She died on August 17, 2019 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 91 years. She was raised and graduated high school in Grove, Missouri. Dorothy was united in marriage to J.T. McMinn on January 22, 1948 in Grove, Missouri. They lived all of the United States before settling in Plymouth, Washington in 1975.. She lived in Plymouth until moving to Hermiston, Oregon in 2016 where she has lived since. Dorothy was a member of New Hope Community Church, Hermiston, Oregon. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cherished time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters: Linda Jennings & her husband John, Vinita, OK, Vivian Gregory & husband David, Salem, OR, Valorie Methvin & husband Ron, Hermiston, OR and Velana Trejo, Hermiston, OR; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Howard Tucker and grandson, Luke Jensen.  

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
