Deborah "Debbie" L (Mills) Roberts

Deborah L. “Debbie” Roberts was born on March 14, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona to parents, Robert and Rose Powell Mills. She died on November 5, 2019 at her home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 66 years. Debbie and Kenny Roberts have been together since 1978 and on May 21, 1994 they married in Reno, Nevada. She worked at Lamb Weston in Boardman, Oregon for 40 years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed making crafts and baking with her grandchildren, sewing baby blankets for all of her grandkids and cherished family get together’s and holidays at their home.

She is survived by her husband Kenny Roberts; daughter: Jeannie Bowman & her husband Eric; sons: James Roberts & his wife Cindy, Jeremy Roberts & his wife Tiffany and her nephew that she raised as a son: Mark Mills & his wife Tonya; brothers: Tommy & Ronald Mills; sisters: Cheryl Moore, Elizabeth Dunn-Crispen and Marla Cabral; grandchildren (aka The Replacements): Jackie Bulow (Jake), Emily Groves (Vonnie), Johnathan Roberts, Brenna Bowman (Ryan Reynolds), Madison Bowman, Grace Roberts, Malakai Gonzalez, Kaleb Nielson, Kaden Nielson, Hunter Bowman & Gage Bowman; great grandchildren: The Moonpies - Adalynn & Sawyer Bulow and The Cupcake - Jade Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Donald and Keith Mills.       

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

A private family burial will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
