Connie L. Salley a longtime Portland, Oregon resident of Arlington, Oregon, was born on October 13, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to parents, James and Carolyn Dillree Peterson. She died on April 5, 2018 in Heppner, Oregon at the age of 61 years. Connie was raised and attended schools in Portland, Oregon, graduating from Parkrose High School. She was united in marriage to John E. Salley on June 20, 1975 in Vancouver, Washington. She enjoyed being a stay at home Mom raising their son, Todd. She and John moved to Arlington, Oregon in 2016 to enjoy a more relaxed pace of life. Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints where she served in many different callings through the years. She enjoyed helping others, traveling, camping, going to the beach and going on motorcycle rides with John.
She is survived by her husband: John Salley, Arlington, OR; son: Todd Salley, Glendora, CA; 3 brothers: Jeff, Jack and Bob Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth McFall.
A private family burial was held at the Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Oregon.
