Concepcion Gutierrez

Concepcion Gutierrez was born December 8, 1943 in Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico the son of Silvestre and Clemencia Torres Gutierrez. He passed away on Thursday November 30, 2017 in Kennewick, WA at the age of 73.

His family traveled extensively when Concepcion was a child. He moved to Hermiston, Oregon in the mid 1970's where he worked for LambWeston for several years.  He then worked took a job with Simplot where he worked for over twenty years, retiring in the mid 2000's. 

Concepcion enjoyed farming, raising animals and being in the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roman.

He is survived by sisters, Alvara Garza, Maria Guadalupe Gutierrez, Rubertina Gutierrez, Maria Estela Reyes, Mercedes Alvarado, Maria Elena Veliz, Maria Socorro Rollins and Ofelia Gutierrez; brothers, Silvestre, Guillermo, Jose Luis and Roberto Gutierrez; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday December 3 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6:00 P.M. also at Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, Oregon)

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday December 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church (565 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, Oregon). Burial will follow in Hermiston Cemetery.
