Boyd Hyrum Hulse was born on October 18th in 1950. He was born in Rigby Idaho. Boyd has been a resident of Irrigon Oregon since around 1972. He worked hard for everything he had despite his challenges of having polio from a young age, and to getting into a major head on collision that he almost lost his life to in 1972. He waited to get his life settled before bringing life into this world. In 1975 his first child was born (Sandra Macomber).and In 1979 his second daughter was brought into the world (Kathy Olson ). Boyd was a loving and very caring father. He had a heart full of love, So much that in 1986 he married his wife Barbra whom he had survive by and welcomed two more daughters with open arms as his own (Becky Wiese & Paula Raaf), and from there his family just grew like a weed from his grandchildren ( Brandon Howard, Boyd Macomber, Nathan Olson, Ashley Martinez, Jacob Olson, Kaylee Aughinbaugh, Emily Howard, Tiahna Aughinbaugh, Ryan Macomber, Nicholas Martinez Jr., Alysun Macomber, Mathew Olson and Charlotte Raaf) to now seven going on eight great grandchildren He always was a safe place to go to, especially when you needed a shoulder to cry on. Boyd cared for much more than just his immediate family, but all his siblings and their immediate families. Boyd did nothing but open his arms to everyone. He was the type to help with anything from a math problem to a life lesson. He always had something to say. One thing he was really good at was entertaining his grandkids with the many many stories of his life. He could catch all of our attention with the passion in his tone when he talked to us about his life. Boyd was very into fishing and hunting. He even competed in Walleye fishing derbies in the area. Boyd loved hunting with brothers and other family members in the mountains in Ukiah OR. Even camping with his grandchildren and other family members was on his list of hobbies. He was so full of life, joy and love. The more he was surrounded by family the bigger the smile on his face. Boyd was loved and loved every part of his family. In the late evening of June 27th, 2019 Boyd was called home back into God’s arms. He has impacted the lives of everyone around him in an exponential manner. This heart break has effected everyone who has got the chance to meet Boyd. Now we hold dearly the memories and thoughts we have of him. He is watching over every one of his family members.
