Sorry, we can't be with you to hold your hand and pray together in honor and remembrance of your Mom and my dearest Aunt Bette.
Just a few weeks ago we were so blessed to spend some time talking, laughing and crying together.

I often stayed with Bette when visiting Salem. Bette and I would listen to Bob's stories, bake, look at her paintings, and talk of our years in Hermiston.

Bette was a role model for all. A Christian woman who knew the Lord would be at her side in good and bad times. She always had a smile and a flair for style.

With sympathy and sad hearts we send our prayers to you knowing the grief you feel, but also knowing the many memories you will keep in your hearts forever.

Dear family, happy memories of Bette continue with you. But when sadness comes, please take comfort in these promises from the Bible. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 NWT. And in the future, people all over the earth (Matthew 5:5) will not suffer illness ever again. No resident will say: " I am sick." Isaiah 33:24; Psalms 37:11, 29 NWT. Peace be with you.

Bette was a Family friend for as long as I can remember! She was an incredible 4H teacher filled with patience and understanding in dealing with teaching a bunch of giggly young girls how to Cool and Sew.....sewing is a big part of my life to this day due to Bette believing in me....She and her family will always be in my heart and prayers

I would love to be at Bette's service but I'm having my mothers service the same day, mother was 94 also. Betty was a sweet lady and very kind to me. Candy and I were very good friends and I spent a lot of time at there place.
