Beth L. (Wilson) Picard

Beth L. Picard of Umatilla was born on March 31, 1934 in Shenandoah, Iowa the daughter of Roland “Tex” and Helen (Erickson) Wilson. She passed away in Hermiston on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at the age of 84.

Beth moved to Echo, Oregon with her family in the early 1940's where she grew up and attended her schooling. She married Marvin L. Picard in Pendleton, Oregon on May 1, 1952. The couple lived in the communities of Kennewick and Richland before moving to San Jose, CA in the late 1950's. They returned to Oregon in the early 1960's and have resided in the Umatilla area since that time.

Beth was a loving Mother and Grandmother. An avid reader and read every Danielle Steele and James Patterson novels that were written. She also enjoyed doing cross stitch and having family get together’s.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Marvin; four sons, Kris (Kathy) Picard, Robin Picard, Larry (Diana) Picard and Kevin (Bonnie) Picard; sister, Marilyn Pratt; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Vanyla Stephens and a brother, Dale Wilson.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday September 8, 2018 at Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W. Hermiston Ave Hermiston, OR).

Family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or to Vange John Memorial Hospice.
