Angelica C. “Angie” Flores was born on November 30, 1953 in McAllen, Texas to parents, Ambrosio and Chriselda Perez Cantu. She died on September 25, 2018 at her home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 64 years. Angie was raised in McAllen, Texas and married Sijifredo “Fred” Flores on June 22, 1969 in Edinburg, Texas. They lived in Arlington, OR, Idaho and Washington before settling in Irrigon, Oregon in 1980 where she has lived since. Angie has worked for Shearer’s Foods in Hermiston, Oregon for the last 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, working, loved animals and cherished time with her family
She is survived by sons: Sijifredo Jr, Rudy, Gabriel & Israel; sister: Chriselda Alicia Caño; brothers: Arturo Cantu, Antonio Sanchez, Ambrosio Cantu; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 great grandson.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Flores, her parents, 2 daughters: Chriselda and Mellissa Flores.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.
Burial will follow at the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
