Alejandro "Alex" Velasco

Alejandro “Alex” Velasco was born on August 17, 1994 in Hermiston, Oregon to Jose Velasco and Ceberiana Robles. He died on May 6, 2019 at his home in Boardman, Oregon at the age of 24 years. Alex attended school in Boardman, Hermiston and Irrigon, graduating from Irrigon High School in 2013. He worked at Nookies Restaurant in the kitchen for 3 years and has worked at Lamb Weston in the sanitation department for the last year. Alex was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Boardman, Oregon. He enjoyed music, going to concerts, cooking and most of all spending time with his son and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents: Jose & Ceberiana; son: Jeremiah; brothers: Carlos, Julian, Jose & Eduardo; sisters: Guillermina, Dora, Consuelo & Alicia; grandmothers: Francisca De la Cruz and Josefina DePaz; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.   

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Pablo Velasco & Jose Robles

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Boardman, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery, Boardman, Oregon.
