Weldon Nix

A. Weldon Nix of Stanfield, Oregon, was born on July 27, 1940 in Thomas, Oklahoma to parents, Arnold and Nora Nix. He died on June 24, 2016 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 75 years. Weldon was united in marriage to Beverly A. Winsby on November 26, 1958 in Reno, Nevada.

A champion horseman, his love for horses was endless. The greatest sparkle in his eye was his granddaughter, Daytona. She was truley his greatest love.

He is survived by his wife: Beverly Nix, Stanfield, OR; daughter: Debbie Tracy & her husband Jay, Hermiston, OR; granddaughter: Daytona; brother: Walter Nix & his wife Charlene; nieces: Bonnie Grenz & her children: Shelby & Wiley Jack, and Lisa Brewster & her children: Krista & Logan.

Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, nephew: Danny Nix & Great nephew: Blaine Grenz.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
