Stephen David Smith

Stephen D. Smith, of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on July 22, 1992 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Robert R. and Belinda K. Griggs Smith. He died on March 16, 2012 near Mountain Home, Idaho at the age of 19 years. Stephen was raised in San Diego, CA until 2001 when the family moved to Hermiston, Oregon. He attended Highland Hills Elementary and Sunset Elementary before attending Sandstone Middle School. Stephen then graduated from Hermiston High School in the class of 2011. He was currently attending Blue Mountain Community College and working for Tom Denschel Ford. Stephen was an aspiring engineer and inventor. He was artistic, creative, and enjoyed building things.

He is survived by his parents: Robert and Belinda Smith, Hermiston, OR; sisters: Danielle and Kaitlyn Smith, both of Hermiston, OR; and his grandparents: Larry & Sandra Smith and Edward & Mary Griggs, all of Hermiston, OR.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 11:00 A.M. at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfield, Oregon.
