Sheryl Beth Tomlinson of Hermiston, OR, was born on September 16, 1947 in Tillamook, Oregon to parents, William Frank Tomlinson and Thelma Blanche Balmer Tomlinson. She died on August 23, 2017 in Spokane, Washington at the age of 69 years. Sheryl spent most of her young life at Shriner’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She lived with her parents in Garibaldi, Oregon until 1982 after her dad died. Sheryl and her mom moved to Hermiston, Oregon where she has lived since with her brother Steve. She was a member of the Hermiston Seventh Day Adventist Church. Sheryl was very family oriented, and she enjoyed needle work, her computer, collecting elephants, traveling, playing cards and board games and was an avid Mariner’s Fan.

 

She is survived by her brothers: Richard Tomlinson, Las Vegas, NV and Steven Tomlinson, Hermiston, OR; sisters: Geraldine Ruth, Echo, OR, Elizabeth “Betty” Tomlinson, Garfield, WA and twin sister: Sharon Struck, Ketchikan, AK; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, brother: Alton Tomlinson, brother-in-law: Ronald Ruth, sister-in-law: Carmen Tomlinson; nephews: Jerry Ruth & Ricky Tomlinson; nieces: Ronda Ruth, Stephanie Tomlinson & Katie Ruth.

 

Services will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hermiston Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hermiston, Oregon..
