Shari Kay (Schneider) Alford

Shari Kay Schneider Alford was born on November 16, 1972 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Dennis and Shari L. Moyer Schneider. She passed away at home on September 2, 2017 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 44 years. Shari was raised and attended schools in Hermiston, Oregon, graduating in the class of 1991. She then attended Blue Mountain Community College where she earned her degree as a dental assistant. Shari attended Anchor Point Church and was involved in Jobs Daughters where she was a Past Honor Queen. She enjoyed the mountains, camping, playing electronic games, staying in touch with everyone through her computer, trips to the ocean and most of all cherished time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son: Wyatt Alford, Ukiah, OR; father: Dennis Schneider, Umatilla, OR; sister: Amy Allstott (Mark), Kennewick, Wa; brother: Stacey Schneider (Amy), Kennewick, Wa; grandmother: Julia Schneider, Hermiston, OR; nephews: Josh, Brandon, Spencer & Cole; niece: Leia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shari was preceded in death by her mother: Shari L. Schneider and grandparents: Raymond Schneider and Maxine and Clyde Moyer.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
