Ronald B Geer

Ronald B. “Ron” Geer, of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on December 28, 1937 in Condon, Oregon to parents, Jack and Margaret Powell Geer. He died on May 28, 2017 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 79 years. Ron was raised in Oregon and joined the United States Navy. During his career in the Navy he served as a mechanic until his honorable discharge. Ron was united in marriage to June Bjork on October 17, 1964 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. They moved to Hermiston, Oregon after Ron retired in 1974 where they have lived since. He was an avid pool player who enjoyed fishing, karaoke, tinkering and charcoal art.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years: June Geer, Hermiston, OR; daughters: Christine Fahlman, Troutdale, OR, Carol Geer and Jackie Geer, both of Hermiston, OR; son: David Geer, Portland, OR; sister: Gwynne, Lincoln City, OR; grandchildren: Tiffanie, Blake & Logan; great grandchildren: Aeris & Damon.
