Rick, you will be greatly missed. We were privileged to be Rick's pastors for several years...He enjoyed church, and really enjoyed getting into God's Word. We had amany great discussions which we always looked forward to.We all have our struggles in this life and with Gods strength and know how, through much prayer and petition and help from the body of Christ and HIS WORD..---we can make it through the rough waters... & On to the other side. I say Keep looking up, and one fine day..we too will fly away to Glory. Gods Blessings to the family and to Rick's friends. In Christ alone, John and Erin Lovett.

When I was young, Rick was one of the few people in the world who took the time to make me feel like my views, thoughts, and opinions about things were valid and important; even when in reality, the perspective of an eight or ten year old kid really doesn't have much influence on the world or the things going on in it. He had a kind heart and he treated me like I was worth knowing. I consider him to be a friend.

Rick seemed so happy the past few times I saw him around town. It's very sad to see his passing, and know that our Mills families are dwindling, even though we are not related. The Mills men left in each of the two families, ironically, are two Randys and two Steves. We always had fun confusing people with that.

My heartfelt condolences to Rick's parents, brothers, and other family members.
Although Rick and I lost touch, I have thought of him fondly throughout the years.
He taught me how to fish, mountain climb, and hunt, but more importantly, not to take things too seriously.
