Pedro Zuniga Tachiquin

Pedro Zuniga Tachiquin of Hermiston, Oregon was born on September 23, 1957 in Jalisco, Mexico. He died on August 23, 2015 in Richland, Washington at the age of 57 years. Pedro was raised and attended school in Mexico. He moved to California at the age of 17 and then Oregon at the age of 21 where he has lived since. Pedro worked for Taggares Farms in Boardman, Oregon for several years as a supervisor. He has worked as a diesel mechanic and supervisor for Easterday Farms in Pasco, Washington for several years. Pedro enjoyed soccer, barbequing, camping, fishing, and going on vacations. He cherished his time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Cristina Rodriguez, Hermiston, OR; daughters: Ana Tachiquin, Yolanda Tachiquin, and Alejandra Tachiquin, all of Hermiston, OR; sons: Pedro Tachiquin and Ismael Tachiquin, both of Hermiston, OR; father: Jose Trinidad, Mexico; brothers: Juan and Efren Zuniga, both of Boardman, OR; sisters: Elena Anaya & Ofelia Zuniga, both of Santa Maria, CA, and Consuelo Zuniga, Mexico; 4 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pedro was preceded in death by his mother: Maria de Jesus Tachiquin and 2 infant brothers.  

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
